Pinterest Wedding Tip: Ceremony Stepping Stones

Although they look gorgeous and sexy, my female friends tell me that standing around in heels isn’t that comfortable.  Don’t make things worse.  🙂

Lay down some stepping stones for the bridesmaids so their heels don’t sink into the ground during your outdoor ceremony.

No Sides, Just Seats! We’re Family!

No Sides. MMp Entertainment, Marcello, Wedding Tips

I’ve seen this written many ways at various wedding ceremonies, but this is one of my favorites.

Short and sweet.

Help your guests avoid that uncomfortable moment when they arrive at your ceremony

and aren’t sure where to sit.

Of course, the first 2 rows are usually reserved for the grand parents and bridal party, but the rest of your friends and family should feel welcome to sit anywhere else they’d like.

It’s a nice way to start off your wedding day and make everyone feel like they should… special.  🙂

A Song To Get Me on The Dance Floor

This is a great way to add a little interactive fun to your invitation.

Give your guests a chance to RSVP and let the DJ know what songs will make your family and friends get on the dance floor.

You’ll probably get a lot of Blurred Lines requests to fill in the blank.  This song is STILL clearing the bar and making everyone go shake their groove thing.  I love it!

Kudos to Robin Thicke, T.I and Pharrell for producing the song of the summer!

Marcello Pedalino presents- The Two-time DJ of the Year: Jack Bermeo of LJ Productions in The Celebrate Life Series, Episode 16

At a recent keynote presentation by Mike Walter,  author of the book, 10 Things You Can Do To Have  A Better Day, I had the opportunity to ask some of the top entertainers and event producers in New Jersey for some advice that would benefit my clients and anyone else tuning in who was planning a milestone celebration.   This is the 16th episode of MMP’s online video resource, The Celebrate Life series.

These industry rock stars were kind enough to share some advice they’ve given to their clients over the years that helped them have an unforgettable experience filled with exceptional entertainment and hospitality.  This installment of the Celebrate Life series features my good friend, Jack Bermo, from LJ Productions.

I asked Jack how couples can make their wedding receptions more personalized, fun and memorable.   In this interview, you’ll see how Jack’s “style,” energy and ability to ignite a crowd from behind the DJ booth as well as out on the dance floor helps his clients and their guests say “that was an awesome wedding” on their way home.

Bermeo has also made quite an impression on The Mobile Dj Entertainment industry recently.  In 2011 and 2012, he earned the coveted DJ of the Year Award at the DJ Times International DJ Expo in Atlantic City, NJ.   Previous winners include such industry notables as Adam Weitz, Sean “Big Daddy” McKee, Jazmine Gonzalez, Marz Lawhorn, Steve Moody and yours trulyMarcello Pedalino.   Bermeo won the approval of the crowd and judges by infusing a smooth, non-obtrusive Emcee style, stellar song selection,  creative musicality and a little help from the percussive talents of an industry favorite, Crystal Vargas.

Only one entertainer has ever won the DJ of the Year award 3 times.  Jack has the opportunity to earn the Triple Crown as well and rewrite the mobile history books in August of 2013.   Whatever he decides, the MMP team wishes him continued health, happiness and success.
