3 hora1 150x150 Ariel and Zoes Fabulous Event at the Park Avenue ClubWith 300 fun-loving, family members and friends together in one of the best venues NJ has to offer, the odds for a successful event were in our favor from the start.

When you combine those elements with ideal guests of honor and a solid entertainment company, a celebration goes from ordinary to extraordinary.

I had 18 people on my talent and production team that day, this shot features a photo taken with dancers before the guests arrived.

Special thanks to Randy Polo, the Catering Director, for his hospitality and professionalism. He was instrumental in coordinating our pre-event site surveys and the on-site logistics.

Just Remember… She’s Always Right!

madison facade Just Remember... She’s Always Right!Lacie and Joe’s ceremony and reception was held in New Jersey at The Madison Hotel. In addition to the on-site accommodations, they chose The Madison for its famed Atrium ballroom.

1 madison ceremony 150x150 Just Remember... She’s Always Right! The mix of high glass ceilings, natural moonlight shining through and a plethora of holiday red poinsettias that were delivered earlier that day made for a dramatic ambiance.

We worked with our good friend, Dave, from Visionmasters Photography.marcello pre intros1 210x300 Just Remember... She’s Always Right! He snapped this paparazzi shot as I was coming down the hotel hallway to make the Grand Entrance announcements.

2 madison reception 150x150 Just Remember... She’s Always Right! The highlight of the night was the Anniversary Dance. After playing At Last by Etta James, we found out that Lacie’s aunt and uncle were the longest married couple on the guest list (almost 50 years). When I asked her uncle if he had any advice for Joe on what it takes to have a long-lasting marriage he said, “Just remember, she’s always right!” The women cheered and the men just nodded their heads in agreement. It was classic.

Rebecca and Matt at the Wilshire Grand: The Best of Both Worlds

wg facade Rebecca and Matt at the Wilshire Grand: The Best of Both WorldsRebecca and Matt’s wedding reception was held at The Wilshire Grand in West Orange, New Jersey. From the first consultation, Rebecca and Matt knew that they wanted the best of both worlds, the combination of DJ Entertainment and live musicians.

wilshire aint no mountain high enough 150x150 Rebecca and Matt at the Wilshire Grand: The Best of Both WorldsAs the first guests arrived into the grand foyer and family photos were being taken, our piano player (Mitch) helped create a classy ambiance as champagne and strawberries were being served.

After the cocktail hour, the ballroom doors opened and the guests went right to the dance floor. Our saxophone player (Franco) and percussionist (Rueben) played along to an up-beat set of Michael Buble and classic Motown music. That set the tone for a fun, elegant and memorable evening.

Special thanks to Tom, the Catering Manager. Just like when he worked at The Rockleigh Country Club, he was a total professional when it came to creating a smooth timeline for the cuisine and planning for all of the event logistics.

Ethan’s Bar Mitzvah: A Landmark Event

dscf9124 large 150x150 Ethans Bar Mitzvah: A Landmark EventEthan’s Bar Mitzvah was held at the Landmark II in Rutherford, New Jersey.

This was our second event for the Gazda family. Like his older sister, Ilana, Ethan’s simcha was  another high-energy, interactive celebration with family and friends.

Throughout the event we gave away voice-activated, LED T-shirts that move to the beat of the music. Needless to say, the kids were very excited about winning one during the sing along competition.

Arissa’s Bat Mitzvah is next, we can’t wait!

Special thanks to our friend Dave from Visionmasters Photography who shared these photos.

He was probably the most organized Bar Mitzvah boy I ever worked with.

swing contest large 150x150 Jacob: On Top of the WorldJacob knew exactly what he wanted with regards to the lighting, production agenda and music programming. In the end, he got just what he’d hoped for… an awesome party!

As you can see from the photos, Jacob is quite the dancer. He’s also very smart; he made sure to choose Tami and Tara from the MMP Entertainment team when it was time for the Swing Dance Competition.
