A Wedding for the Kennedy’s at the Brownstone: What’s In A Name?

It’s not very often that you get the chance to provide the entertainment for royalty.   I had the honor of introducing Mr. and Mrs. Sean & Shannon Kennedy last week at The Brownstone, in Paterson, NJ.

Of all the names I’ve seen a bride take when she got married, Shannon pretty much hit the jackpot. Over the years, I’ve seen brides marry into last names like Lipschitze, Krapper and Bumpass.  But Shannon, who already had a nice Irish last name to begin with, Ryan….is now set for life.

You can tell a lot about your clients by the toasts.  When Shannon’s maid of honor and sister, Alyson, spoke after the blessing, she let everyone know what a special person Shannon was.  As you can see from the photo, Shannon is one of the fortunate few who have been blessed with beauty both inside and out. When Sean’s best man, Nathan, took the mic, he let everyone know how Sean exemplified the meaning of true friendship. He shared a story about how Sean would make long road trips after a full day of personal obligations just so he could visit with his college friends for a few hours.

Everybody agreed, Shannon and Sean found their soul mate and will live happily ever after, just like a royal couple should.
