A Sweet Treat- Marcello Recommends: Candy Sushi

With the exception of Naked Sushi, this is the coolest presentation and tastiest form of the Japanese delicacy I’ve ever experienced.  At a networking event last week sponsored by the NJDJN, a Candy Sushi station was set up for all of the attendees to enjoy.

If you are a fan of Rice Crispies, Fruit Roll Ups, Gummy Fish, Marshmallows, Chocolate Chips, and any other sugar-rush-inducing treat that is sinful and choppable, you’re going to love Candy Sushi.  Check out the Life With Cake blog for a fun,  at-home version recipe.

The Candy Sushi station presentation has a fun, yet elegant vibe; complete with a Geisha-styled server, Japanese folding screens and several ornate decorative pieces to add to the exotic ambiance.

People are always asking for me for new ideas and for the latest trends in event planning…
